Ingest message history from Slack channels to give Herald context from your team’s conversations.

| Parameter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Channels** | Names of the channels to ingest messages from (e.g., `engineering`, `incidents`). After installation, you must add the Herald app to each of these channels. |
| **Message history (days)** | How many days of message history to ingest. Note that Slack’s free plan limits message history to 90 days regardless of this setting. |

Once you hit `Save`, you will be redirected to the Slack app installation page. Select the right workspace and install the Herald app; this requires admin permissions.
